Wenger is an interesting one. For years he has been lauded as a transfer
market wizard but I'm not so sure anymore. He had one great burst at the
start of his Arsenal career when he recruited the likes of Overmars, Petit,
Viera, Pire, Anelka - but since then it has been more hit than miss.

Bringing this thread back to transfers, we apparently havent given up
entirely on Dann. The club will bring in a centre half before the end of the
month, so whether its Dann or Cahill we will have to wait and see. either
way, we are not finished yet in the transfer market. Kenny and Comolli are
in agreement we need a centre half, and the owners are happy to back Kenny.

Hearing lots of good things about Comolli as well. very efficient and very
stubborn.

These may be tough now it seems Fabregas has gone [pity really, great player
and a loss to the league] and I'm sure Wenger will be splashing cash.....or
will the stubborn bugger. I'm guessing Nasri will go too.
