I'm certainly not opposed to keeping Kuyt as a squad player - but the
pairing of Kuyt and N'Gog as our backup strike force doesn't fill me with
the greatest confidence. We don't have Europe this season so there should be
fewer games - but were we to lose Suarez and Carroll (who still has some
questions to answer for many) for a long period of time I would be
concerned.

How about being good enough for 3rd choice striker, his scoring record seems
more than up to that level really.
