I have to say chaps, this is way too much information :-)
 
Haven't heard any reported injuries from last night's internationals (touch
wood). But I afforded myself a wry smile when I heard Torres had left the field
whilst playing for Spain (it was initially reported as an ankle injury - later
changed to head injury). After finally getting a summer's rest it would be
ironic if he missed the start of the season but thankfully that's not our
problem any more (and were it so, I am sure Mr Thomas would have been in a state
of apoplexy this morning - and he wouldn't have been the only one).
 
I hate internationals and the only silver lining to this week's appalling
disorder has been the cancellation of the England game because I had convinced
myself that the (finally) fully fit Mr Carroll would be sent back to use wrapped
in plaster.
