Tor, although he won't remember him, I would recommend Joey Jones' book - "Oh Joey Joey".
It was written with Rob McCaffrey, a Liverpool fan and Sky TV presenter, a few years ago.
It obviously follows Joey's career from his early days at Wrexham right up to his return there towards the end of his career, but every page is full of his mad escapades, it really is one of the funniest football books you are likely to read.
I know Joey personally, we've sponsored him at Wrexham for a few years, and the book is an accurate reflection of the real Joey. Anyone who has seen him on the after dinner circuit will agree he is a genuine, funny bloke who loves Liverpool to the core.
I have some signed copies available if you - or any of the group - want one.
They are in our eBay shop here : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170570892798#ht_4477wt_906
Ignore the price listed, I will do them for £7 delivered if interested.
Best,
- Bob

Subject: [lfc] Autobiographies
Can anyone recommend Liverpool autobiographies (or other Liverpool related books) for my 11 year old? It's supposed to be both an English lesson and readable from a football and Liverpool fan's perspective. As English isn't his native language, it shouldn't be too hard to read. Stevie G is the big favorite, especially after a former striker's exit, but I think Fowler, Carra, Kenny or Keegan would excite him as well.
