Am I alone in finding it laughable that footballers bring out
autobiographies while they are still playing - often in their early
twenties. Now I'm not having a go at our players, but it just seems crazy
for anyone to bring out an autobiography at that point - memoirs should be
published at the end of a career (regardless of what that career is), not
during it.

Can anyone recommend Liverpool autobiographies (or other Liverpool related
books) for my 11 year old? It's supposed to be both an English lesson and
readable from a football and Liverpool fan's perspective. As English isn't
his native language, it shouldn't be too hard to read. Stevie G is the big
favorite, especially after a former striker's exit, but I think Fowler,
Carra, Kenny or Keegan would excite him as well.
