If the fee offered was big enough Everton would sell. I'm not against Clichy either, but I'd suggest Baines and Enrique are better.

Mata, I agree would be top drawer and a game changer for us. Some argue no Euro football works against him. Some say "but we are still LFC and a huge club". I don't think the no Euro is a major obstacle while we still have the later, but the LFC and a huge club has a limited shelf life and we need to get back to the top quick and buying some of the mediocre players we are linked to isn't going to cut it.
