Whelan is not one to talk about double standards - his team rolls over everytime they play the Mancs. I think the stat I saw over the weekend said that since they were promoted they have lost every single game and the goals are like 41-4 in favour of the Mancs.
He is a mate of Bobby Charlton and said before we played them in 2008-09 that it would be a shame if the Mancs didnt win the league.
After Warnock and Fat Sam he is the most odious man in football in my view and the sooner his shitty little team is relegated the better.
I just hope that Martinez gets out with a chance of managing a bigger club before he is sucked down to Whelan's level.
