We really don't know what's going on behind the scenes so I won't be
surprised if we end up with Young or Downing because we might not be
able to lure better players after all, given that we can't offer
European football. If you were Hazard would you leave Lille and the CL
to play for Liverpool? You probably would but it would probably take a
better wage packet and bonus etc. So it might not be totally down to
Comolli. The january signings of Suarz and Carroll gave us hope for
the future and hopefully we will be buying a couple of top drawer
players. And let's not forget that Comolli is not alone in this.
Surely, he can't buy a player without kenny's consent?
As for Barton...I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.
