And therefore very good players are not likely to hang around if they can't see an urgency in that turnaround. They are more privy than me...but I can't see any urgency...anyone? Moneyball or whatever crap it's called is fine but I strongly feel that LFC is at a major crossroads here.

From what I'm reading there seems to be a really likelihood that the Suarez deal will happen. But there also seems to be a very serious concern [text person] that Torres could seriously be gone. I and even that poster doesn't know or mean it's 100%, but apparently some real reasons for concern.
