As far as the economy is concerned, everything seems expensive at the moment.
Petrol prices are ridiculous and food prices are rising fast (though the two
may be linked)
But by far the biggest factor IMHO is that people are not confident about the
security of their jobs and the Tory cuts have still to bite.
We could probably do with a few more Canadian tourists spending their hard
earned dollars in our shops and football grounds ;-)
