If by "quickly followed" he means one full season. Grady Little lasted long enough to make one of the biggest managerial mistakes in Red Sox history, leaving in exhausted starting pitcher Pedro Martinez to blow a big lead in the decisive Game 7 of the 2003 American League Championship Series.

We all know he should go, but it's pretty clear Woy, barring a complete and utter disaster of unimaginable proportions, is going to get the full season before being replaced.

I'm sure they already have potential replacements in mind.

 we can only hope...

i desparately can't want us to lose but i'm almost in that position coming
in to the Bolton game. if we can't beat Wolves at home we're almost
odds-on to lose against Bolton who have a manager not afraid to attack and
who has rejuvenated their side. of course, a team that comes and has a go
should help us because we won't have to try our inept attempts to break
down a 9-man defense. if we win it'll be good for us but unfortunately
also good for the clown in charge.

you have to believe that if we got 2 points or less from the next two
league games, and a thumping by the Mancs in the Cup and he'd have to go
but i have the feeling that he isn't going to do the honourable thing so
it's up to the board to sack him. the question is will they...?
