Oddly, and I haven't seen the Utrecht game myself, but most on the forum I was following would have Lucas ahead of Poulsen, they thought he was and is that bad. Either way, this shows how pathetic it's all become, it used to be Mascherano and Alonso.

Personally, if you need two playing together back there and right now it seems we do as the defence is so bad, I'd go with Meireles and Gerrard as at least those two will break forward as well and pass the ball better then P & L. I know many feel that Gerrard's best place is up with Torres and that might be, but right now we need to go with the best players and can't afford ineffective players in those spots.
