I think the truth encompasses a bit of both worlds. Yes, it is only a
meaningless pre-season game where the result doesn't matter. But it does
have psychological consequences just like everything else. Zimmer is right
that it is important to get into a winning mentality early as often that can
carry you through the close difficult games.

Apparently this Norweigian team have borrowed 5 from a lower division.
Training session or not we should be beating these and heading into the
season with a winning mentality. The game in Turkey, I wrote off as soon as
I saw the line up, but we've done this before in preseason and then started
the season awfully.
