The year Kenny won the double all our friendlies (listed on OS) were in UK. We played seven, won 4, drew 2 and lost 1.
In 2004/05 we played four friendlies - Wrexham, Celtic, Porto, Roma. We lost to Porto and won the other three.
In 2008/09 when we amassed the most points never to win the premier league and finished second, we played 8 friendlies, won four including a 4-1 victory at Valerenga, drew three and lost one.
So far this season, we've played five of six friendlies, won two, lost two, and drawn one.
Safe to say the approach to friendly games has changed a lot since Kenny's first season as manager in 1985/86! This pre-season, only one game is in England.
