Well we have work to do. Adam will be a good signing for us if we give
him defensive cover, he will benefit from playing with Lucas. That said
we need another quality defensive midfielder to protect him and our
dodgy back 4. Spearing is all action and had a good end of season but he
is still learning his trade. We have plenty of good playermaker types
unlike chelski who only have Benayoun so our strikers should get lots of
chances..

What didn't help our passing today was the state on the Hull pitch
looked like they had golf course rough instead of football pitch. We
should never give them a money spinning Pre season unless they up their
game! and of course loose!!

Hopefully we can still clear out some of the deadwood and get dominant
center half. Soto and Wilson are not going to do as backup. Roll on
towards the new season.
