I never said that at all. It's fine for you to believe we will win every
game 10-0 if you like. I just said I don't think it is realistic.
I don't see how using an argument based upon Chelsea's collapse in form
supports your assertion that we will continue our great run of form next
season? Surely that shows how such runs can end. Agreed, we all start with 0
points - but previous season's form is at least an indicator of what a team
is likely to do next season. We finished behind 6 teams this season - some
of them by quite a margin. I'm sure one or two of them may well have a below
par season next year. But we're not talking about 1 or 2 we're talking about
6. By the law of averages another 1 or 2 of them are going to have as good,
if not better, seasons; and they are more likely to be the teams nearer the
top of that pile with more resources to throw at it.
I would love it as much as you if we did win the Title next season but I
think it will just be beyond us. That doesn't mean that we are not
improving - we are. It's just that I think we have much further than you to
go in the amount that we need to improve.

Let me address each of your points in turn.>
So it's OK for you to assume a pessimistic outcome for next season, but it's
not OK for me to be optimistic about our ability to challenge for the title?
Last October how many on this list and premier league football fans in
general, were ready to hand Chelsea the title just because they got off to a
great start? It was assumed their good form would run through the season,
just because...
Didn't Citeh have a better second half of the season, than first half?
Arsenal got worse, dropped more points than us, yet you assume they will be
better than us because...Do you base your belief that Citeh will be better
on their first half season or second? Come August we all start with zero
points, so the points difference between 6th and 1st last season will count
for nothing.
