That was my (paradoxical) point Bill. How can it be great news if we didn't
know in the first place - and if we did know, then should it not be either
bad news that one of our targets has been missed or bad news that Kenny is
going for the wrong player or bad news in that we don't totally trust Kenny
with the transfer kitty.

There are loads of Reds that are really keen on Young and loads that think
he's good but not what we need if we are going to step up to the next level.

There's talk of us being interested in Mata too and of the two "mums" I'd
much rather have him.
