Not really, I think expecting a couple of new starters a season is fine, we are expecting 1 or 2 more than that.

I think depth would be okay if we had healthy backups, take leftback for example if we had kept insua and brought in another leftback to compete with him while letting aurellio go then we would have been fine, instead we brought in aurelio and pfk which was insane.

A central midfield with aquilani instead of poulsen and 5m more in the bank would have been good, spearing is about 6th choice so you can't expect consistency from him.

Attacking options have obviously improved with the signings in jan, but cole was a waste of money, the likes of kuyt and maxi would be useful squad members.

While it doesn't look like it today we don't need a complete overhaul at all,
our needs in the summer are the same as they were before today.

We need, starting leftback, starting defender (fullback or central depending on
where you want Kelly), central midfielder and an attacking midfielder.
