I agree there is no excuse for it in the context that Rooney used it. I
could understand it if he'd just dropped a rock on his foot or something
similar - but there should be standards.

I know. But maybe thats why it's heard on the bus. People used to frown at
damn now nothing is thought of f&&&. My kids are in their 30's and I've not
uttered that word in their presence hardly ever. When I did it was usually
attached to a Man U comment!!

I think as a pro getting obscene money he should be able to refrain. If he
doesn't then the ban is appropriate. Where does it stop if you don't?
