Bachelor's degree programs in the field may be found in plant sciences with emphasis in plant protection or in plant protection and pest management with emphasis in entomology. Post-baccalaureate degrees include the Master of Science in Integrated Pest Management and the Master of Plant Protection and Pest Management (MPPPM). Graduates may be employed as integrated pest management professionals by fertilizer and pesticide services, regulatory agencies or by one of the Cooperative Extension Services offices. Cities, farmers and ranchers regularly run into pest management problems; graduates of these programs should be skilled in solving them. A Dietary Management program will educate you not only in nutrition therapy and dietetics, but in employee management and food safety as well.
