Is the economy really that bad in Britain and Europe? I'm seriously asking. I know things in the States are grim. Canada has been pretty immune from a lot of these world wide problems so far, thanks in large part to a much more conservative approach to banking. While mortgages at one point [it's been tightened a bit again] were made easier to get, it was never to the insane level that was going on south of the border and consequently the housing market has remained very stable and no real big unemployment problems. I know, off topic, just interested.
