I'm surprised that there aren't more people livid with Torres.
It's also fine to say that we've replaced top players before.....but I think this is a bit of a wake up call that we've [LFC] lost a fair amount of our lustre. "Rush went and Barnes, Beardsley and Aldridge came in". Sure they did, because we were top dogs and they wanted to come here.....but now? But football has changed and sadly, not for the better.
The only consolation I have is that I struggle to remember any player bar Keegan that has left us and done any good....hopefully he falls flat on his face too.
It's less than 24 hours since this broke, but I have to admit that I'm pretty disillusioned with football right now with it's prima dona, over paid, soft, florescent booted, cheating pansies.
