Re: [lfc] Re: Match Off

No mention on the BBC match preview page of who the ref will be but it
does have a few stats, and some have already started to make me
nervous...! ;-)

- It will be 27 years next month since Wolves last recorded a win over
Liverpool, little-known striker Steve Mardenborough scoring the only
goal of his Wolves career to shock Anfield in January 1984. Both Mark
Lawrenson and Alan Hansen played in that match. As with that game,
Wolves will kick-off at the bottom of the table.

- Liverpool have won 13 of their last 14 home league matches against
Wolves. They have kept nine clean sheets in the last 11.

- Wolves have not scored in 270 Premier League minutes against Liverpool.

- The Reds have not conceded in 309 Premier League minutes at Anfield.

- Roy Hodgson is yet to beat Wolves as a Premier League manager. His
Fulham side drew 0-0 at Craven Cottage during April and lost 2-1 at
Molineux in September 2009.

- Liverpool are five points down on this stage last season, when they
went on to finish seventh.

- Wolves are yet to win a league game away from Molineux since March -
run of 11 matches without victory.

- Mick McCarthy's men have the worst away record in the league this
term, having picked up a solitary point on their travels. That point
came at nearby Everton in Wolves' opening away fixture.

- Wolves have conceded 32 league goals this campaign, the equal worst in
the division alongside West Ham.
