If that is aimed at me, and we are now down to "I understand TLW better than
you do" then this conversation is redundant.

Sorry, but that's rubbish, people questioned whether he was good enough
for the job, but the support was there at Anfield backing the team as
always. Now they weren't singing his name at matches, but he had done
nothing to earn that and rapidly alienated that support by his stupid
comments such as complaining about the protests against g&h.

Dalglish is a legend and is always going to have support from the fans,
but that simply wasn't been vocally demonstrated during games or
 anything like that.

If you listen to his comments you would think he hadn't actually done
anything wrong though, it is always somebody else's fault, people
especially in the media keep trying to invoke the Liverpool way and
saying it is wrong to want a manager sacked while ignoring the
fundamental point of about the Liverpool way which was collective
responsibility as shown at no time whatsoever by Roy.

People haven't needed to twist his words though, the stupid comments and
reason to dislike him come unrequested and at a very frequent rate as it
seems like Roy has never met a microphone he didn't like.

The team was supported fully and it is extremely disingenuous to claim
otherwise, Roy wasn't getting his name sung if that is what you mean by
not supporting him specifically because that is something that comes
naturally as it is earned and doesn't happen automatically or do you
mean that people having perfectly valid questions about his ability to
do the job were not supporting him? As far as your invocation of TLW,
see above for my comments, people shouldn't be claiming such things if
they don't actually understand all the principles of it.
