If the cap fits, I call a great manager a great manager by what they have achieved not what they nearly achieved, I am not a Scowser by blood so i don't fully understand that way of life in Liverpool but over here "nearly" doesn't cut it.

You really are clueless aren't you?

I rather enjoyed beating all the top clubs in Europe and being put back on the
map. The fact that we were unable to win the league came down to one
thing...money. We came close and had H&G lived up to their promises instead
of bleeding the club dry I think we'd have done it.

One thing all genuine Liverpool fans do is take pride in their history. We saw
it the other night when Avi Cohen and Bill Jones got such a thunderous round
of applause. Both made contributions to our history. As did Rafa (in European
terms in a very significant way). If you think it was time for him to go then
fair enough. But the derogatory way you talk about him and play down his
achievements says rather more about you than him. Some say Woy doesn't "get"
us and quite frankly he's not the only one.
