Everything with respect to LFC is a wind-up at the moment so I decided to give
it a miss.
I recall back in 74 when Kevin Keegan and Billy Bremmner got sent off in the
Charity Shield, there were one or two calling for a life-ban on the players
because of their outrageous behaviour (= a minor bit of fisticuffs and some
shirt flinging).
I also remember ex-Bluenose Pat Nevin defending a penalty decision (against us)
because he claimed it was a "morally justified" penalty even though technically
it wasn't a penalty at all!
It all goes to show how much tripe is spouted in the media by so-called journos
and pundits - especially when we are on the receiving end.
