We could and one day I'd like to see a club make a player honour the lucrative contract he signed. Alas, I think with the over inflated transfer market, clubs would rather sell than lose the millions in income from getting rid of a player who wants to leave. Maybe in hindsight we should have let Mascherano go last summer when his value was higher...
