Well, that wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be, probably because I watched it and already knew the result and the stress was removed.
Firstly, there are a lot worse sides than West Brom and it would be nice to see them stay up simply for the fact that they try to play football and sadly for that reason they will likely go down.
I think our real problem is that we need some additions with some real skill and flair and Joe Cole should be one to provide more, but I think more is needed and suggestions of Konchesky and Carlton Cole don't inspire one little bit. We tend to be a team of grafters and sometimes we don't really graft too hard either. But grafting only gets you so far.
I thought, while not great, that Poulson and Jovanovic showed enough that they aren't bad players, but it is a mystery why Maxi doesn't start. Hopefully Meireles will be a dynamic player, because we definitely need more of that. Another strong forawrd/link player is needed who can turn a game.....it ain't Carlton Cole and has to be better than Ngog.
The Red I'd say was one, but I don't think it was intentional. How he missed the handball is a mystery though.
